The Sundial ring is designed to be worn as a cocktail ring or stand alone as a sculpture.
An 8.5-carat faceted citrine is surrounded by a gradient of orange to yellow sapphires and spessartine garnets, reminiscent of the sundial’s first hour of the day: sunrise.
The angle of the bezel is derived from the “gnomon” in this age-old time telling device
The ring is hand forged using goldsmithing techniques, each piece soldered together one-by-one. The final planished surface creates a play of light refracting rays from the citrine.
